If your business is like most, you know the frustrations of out-of-the-box software that simply does not fit your organizational needs or user requirements. Most companies, however, tend to settle for unsatisfactory applications because they believe a custom software solution costs too much and does not impact their bottom-lines enough to offset investment cost and time devoted to development.
The software industry is now waking up to a new market of customers who demand better solutions for cheaper prices. Olive has been developing and maintaining custom software solutions for over a decade while using a method for project delivery that has repeatedly produced successful solutions. You could say we have been ahead of the times.
Listed below are a few types of solutions that Olive offers expert services for:
-
Learning Management System (LMS)
-
Donor Management
-
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
-
Automated Clearing House (ACH)
-
Digital Publishing
Olive is more than merely an application development partner who understands business needs and requirements. Olive can ensure success with the best possible combination of cost, speed, and quality in its approach to technology in business. The Olive development approach consists of seven basic steps to project success:
-
Consulting: Business Planning and Strategy
-
Analysis and Requirements Gathering
-
System Architecture
-
Project Planning
-
Application Development
-
Testing and Quality Assurance
-
Deployment and Client Acceptance
Application Management:
Often, after Olive has delivered a successful application, clients require a maintenance period for their solution. Who better to manage an application than the developers, project manager, and company that built it? Olive prides itself in its ability to provide clients with the level of support they need, whatever that may be. Olive also takes up the management and maintenance for applications and solutions developed by other technology providers.
Olive Technology is able to smoothly transition from application development into application management for a client by initiating a ‘Resource Allocation’ project once the solution has been deployed. A ‘Resource Allocation’ project allows the customer to choose a predetermined number of hours per month anticipated for the management/maintenance. If the hours of work exceed that estimate, Olive will notify the client to get approval for the work over the agreed upon number of hours. Then Olive tracks the hours in timesheets for the client’s reference and simply includes them in the next month’s invoice.
