Serving Together To Make a Difference
As we strive to make a difference in our world, our impact usually isn’t the result of one event or activity. Instead it is the result of many small efforts that lead to changed lives. At Olive Technology, we call these olive leaves. Our Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative – The Olive Leaf Project – allows our team at Olive Technology to engaging our community and the world to make a big difference.
The Significance of the Olive Leaf
Serving Together: While one leaf isn’t very impressive, many leaves bunched together sustain the olive tree and provide shade for all who sit under it. We believe in empowering our staff to find ways to impact their world, and as they reach out, their acts of kindness will come together to sustain and shade a much larger area than anyone could have done alone.
Acts of Kindness: In Greek mythology the olive leaf was “a symbol of abundance, glory and peace.” We believe that as Olive Technology reaches out with acts of kindness and service that we will be agents of generosity, human dignity and true peace.
Restoring Lives: The Olive Leaf is known for its medicinal value. It is used tofight common colds, viruses and serves as an antioxidant. Our hope is that the many leaves that spring from Olive Technology will reduce the suffering in our world as they bring spiritual hope and physical health to many.
