.NET programmer preferably with domain experience/knowledge in banking or financial application with good programming and analytical skills with 3 to 5 years of experience in developing web applications using ASP.NET, C#, ASP.NET AJAX and  SQL Server as database. Candidates with experience or knowledge of PHP would be an added advantage.

Should have experience in at least one full project life cycle. Should be able to analyze requirements, design and implement solutions independently. Need to have very good communication skills and exposure to client communication is must.  Knowledge or experience in agile development methodologies would be a plus.

Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the performance, integrity and security of the database. Additional role requirements include planning, development and troubleshooting.
Experience: 6+ years
Skill Set: SQL Server, MySql, RDBMS, XML database management systems.
The database approach incorporates the following principles:

- data remains consistent across the database;
- data is clearly defined;
- users access data concurrently, in a form that suits their needs;
- There is provision for data security and recovery control (all data is retrievable in an emergency).

Work activities

Responsibilities:

- establishing the needs of users and monitoring user access and security;
- monitoring performance and managing parameters to provide fast query responses to 'front end' users;
- mapping out the ‘conceptual design’ for a planned database in outline;
- considering both 'back end' organization of data and 'front end' accessibility for end users;
- refining the ‘logical design’ so that it can be translated into a specific data model;
- further refining the ‘physical design’ to meet system storage requirements;
- installing and testing new versions of the database management system (DBMS);
- maintaining data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act;
- writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (‘metadata’);
- controlling access permissions and privileges;
- developing, managing and testing backup and recovery plans;
