The existing partners are located throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.  The decision to utilize channel partner relationships has stemmed from over 12 years of experience within the offshore outsourcing environment and the realization that there is no substitute for a face-to-face relationship management.

In becoming an Olive channel partner, an enterprise gets access to streamlined processes, infrastructure, and most significantly the experienced estimation teams at Olive. Olive’s Estimation Team called ES-TEAM plays a major role within ‘The Olive Branch’ by assisting channel partners in successfully guiding a client through the decision making process.

 

The ES-TEAM consists of Business Analysts, Technical leads and Project Managers that analyze client requirements, prepare all necessary documents for marketing and the proposal process, and aid the support of client relationships. Each prospective engagement follows a well defined and efficient process that consists of:

  1. User Requirements Specifications (URS)
  2. Proposal
  3. Contract Preparation and Administration
  4. Invoicing Statements
  5. Customer Feedback Reports

The fruit reaped from Olive Technology’s business is obviously the product of many contributions and the channel partners play a major role in Olive’s core business.

Our partners also get access to our sales automation customer relationship management system called OliveARM. OliveARM is a central station that enables streamlined communication between our partners and ESTEAM enabling a smooth Account and Relationship Management.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Expected role and responsibility of a channel partner:


Client Introduction:

Primary Role is introducing the client to Olive Technology.

 

Relationship Management:

  • Primary Role is managing customer expectation and satisfaction through the project process. The partner is required to be involved into the details on a need basis in order to sustain the relationship. Is kept up to date by Olive Technology on major milestones.
  • Technical relationship is maintained by Olive Technology when the project is finished. Relational aspects will be maintained by partner.

 

Project Management

Based on their competency a channel partner may take the role of project coordination or project management. The primary function in this capacity is to be heavily involved in the whole project. This includes requirement gathering through direct interaction with the end customer and providing accountability for the Client Coordinator. Within this capacity a partner initiates weekly meetings, coordinates delivery time line and milestone accomplishments. The Project Manager is expected to be involved in all communication.
